Hey Matt,
Since this isn't a club trip etc. borrowing a boat is a completely different kettle of fish. Essentially, if you are allowed by the committee to take the boat, you would have to agree to be 100% responsible for all potential damage / loss to the boat - photos taken beforehand and condition verified afterwards and any damage paid for, any loss or major damage resulting in an immediate replacement.

Sorry if this sounds harsh, but it is the only fair way to lend out kit when not on club trips!

Right, now that is out of the way come speak to me at a pool session or something (or send me a pm) about the details of the course, who is running it and where it is etc.

As for boats, hopefully the H3 will be fixed by then as I would really like to take it to Scotland earlier that month! Assuming it survives that it might be a good choice, although the fact it is damaged might persuade you otherwise as it is more likely to break again. Other than that, the GT or X are good bets.

Finally, someone should be around on those dates to help you get the boat, if not and everything else is sorted such that you can borrow it, I will make arrangements so that it is possible.

Essay over, basically let me know the details, I'll speak to the rest of the committee and let you know :)
